What Can Breast Lift Surgery Improve?
Your Breast Lift Procedure
ConsultationDuring your consultation, Dr. Aaronson will evaluate the size and shape of the breasts, skin elasticity, and nipple and areola placement to determine the best surgical technique.
The degree of sagging will affect the surgical incision pattern used.
- Circumareolar (Donut) Breast Lift: Can correct mild to moderate sagging and requires an incision around the perimeter of the areola.
- Inverted-T (Anchor) Lift: Used to correct severe sagging. Requires an incision around the areola, down the breast, and across the inframammary fold. This degree of ptosis will likely lead to a much longer incision and has the potential for more scarring.
